Encountering God in Nature
Through the Wisdom of the Saints
Silent Guided Retreat
May 19-22, 2022
"The aesthetic value of creation cannot be overlooked. Our very contact with nature has a deep restorative power; contemplation of its magnificence imparts peace and serenity." Saint John Paul ll
This retreat is open to women and men seeking to slow down by allowing nature to support them in an extended time of prayer, silence, and rest with the living God.
In this silent retreat at the Pacem in Terris Hermitage Retreat Center in Isanti, Minnesota, Heather Makowicz, our experienced Spiritual Director, will share how creation is a way God shares His efficacious love, gently inviting us to a deeper relationship with Him. She will support us in creating a space to slow down, to listen, and to encounter God through the context of nature and silence.
